"I like working at Grontmij mainly because I work with so many fun projects. I really think that going to work every morning is fun," says Emma Ekdahl, 28 years old and employed by Grontmij in Sweden.
"Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering is my degree. After a few years on other courses, I thought about what I really wanted to do after graduation, and decided that mechanical engineering was right for me. After roughly half the course, I focused on the field of energy and power station technology.
Virtually immediately after my graduation I started working at Grontmij, Carl Bro at that time. I sent a speculative application after having met a girl who was working here and who seemed to have really enjoyable work tasks and was happy. Following two interviews, I was offered a position.
Here at Grontmij, I mainly work in three areas: equipment projects for heating and power station facilities, energy conservation and general inquiries. I also work with solar cells in some projects."
