Health 
All new employees are offered to sign a group insurance that is free during the first year of employment and that offers basic coverage regarding life and health, accidents etc.

Work and private life
You either have 25 vacation days and compensation for overtime, or you have 30 days vacation and no compensation for overtime. Maternity or paternity leave up to 480 days in total, that could be used up until the child is 8 years old or at the end of the first year of school. The days could be shared between the parents. During maternity/paternity the employee receives compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. 

We compensate to some degree the gap between monthly salary and compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Salary compensation can be received during a maximum of 120 days. The number of days for this compensation depends upon how long he/she has been an employee.

Pension
The retirement age is 65 years. It is possible to continue working until the age of 67.

Training and personal development
We recommend our managers to perform a structured development talk with their employees 1-2 times per year. At these talks an individual development plan is discussed. Through our internal Grontmij Academy certain specific courses could be offered.

Specific technical competences have their own networks for knowledge sharing.

For our younger consultants we strive to work actively with mentorship in order to introduce them to the role of a technical consultant, and to facilitate knowledge sharing in both directions.

Other benefits
Health benefits include compensation with approximately € 200,00 per year (SEK 2,000) for physical activities such as gym, aerobics, different team sports, massage etc.

Access to specialist counselling such as psychologists, lawyers, financial advisors etc, up to 4 free visits per specialist and year. No reports go back to the employer so the users can be anonymous.
