Grontmij present at the Bright Green exhibition
The Bright Green exhibition is part of the official COP15 calendar and the largest parallel event to the Copenhagen conference. The centrepiece of Grontmij’s stand at Bright Green will be a two-metre high iceberg; weighing 3.5 ton. The melting iceberg is intended as a symbol of the urgent need for action within the climate field.

Water as the main theme of the stand
The iceberg represents an illustration of the main theme of Grontmij's exhibition on Bright Green: Water. Rising of water levels, increased precipitation, flooding and the lack of clean drinking water all constitute serious issues that are arising as a consequence of climate changes. In the years to come, these problems will become increasingly urgent. This is why Grontmij has decided to put sustainable solutions within water and energy on the agenda.
Under the heading ”Oceans of bold solutions for a blue planet”, the Grontmij stand will present 48 innovative and challenging bids for solutions to the world's climate challenges.
