Grontmij signs contract with the Free University of Brussels for a University Expertise Centre for Public-Private-Partnership
The Free University of Brussels has created a new chair, the University Expertise Centre for Public-Private-Partnership (PPP). The university has developed an agreement with Grontmij and two other partners: consulting firm Deloitte and law firm Laga. Jan Bosschem, Managing Director of Grontmij Belgium, signed the agreement on behalf of Grontmij Belgium on January 27.
Start in 2010-2011
Grontmij and other partners will provide the necessary resources to the university over the next five years to appoint two doctoral students. Thus, the research and knowledge on public-private cooperation from a multi-disciplinary approach be further developed. The University Expertise PPP starts in 2010-2011 and will involve lectures, seminars and conferences.
Involvement faculties
Three faculties are involved in the chair: Law and Criminology, Economic, Social and Political Sciences & Solvay Business School and Engineering. Holder of the Chair Prof. Elvira Haeze Donck of the Faculty of Economic, Social and Political Sciences & Solvay Business School.
