Grontmij wins Framework Agreement with Landwind Energy in Belgium
Grontmij has announced today a significant framework agreement win in Belgium. The framework will run for three years with the developer Landwind Energy for the support, engineering and project management of all their onshore wind energy projects in Belgium.
The contract covers the full spectrum of our Grontmij's services in this market. Within this agreement Grontmij will work on several projects and the consultancy will further strengthen its position in the Wallonian region of Belgium. The framework agreement is worth potentially € 250,000 each year for three years and was projected in the 2010 budget for Belgium.
The potential for work within the framework runs the full gamut of the stages of the Grontmij project chain. Under the terms of this framework agreement, Grontmij can supply services such as feasibility studies environmental impact assessments, specific advice as part of the Habitat and Birds guideline, preparation and submission license files, risk management and risk analysis in investment projects, consultation on the foundations, engineering of the energy infrastructure in the energy grid, project management and maintenance management.
