Press release - Grontmij appoints new Company Secretary
Grontmij has appointed Suzan van Nieuwkuyk as its Company Secretary with effect from 1 June 2008. Mrs Van Nieuwkuyk follows up Nico van der Schuit, who is appointed as sales director for Grontmij in the Netherlands, region North-West.
Mrs Van Nieuwkuyk will be responsible for corporate governance and support to the Executive Board and Supervisory Board of Grontmij. In addition she will act as spokesman of the company and will be responsible for investor relations.
Suzan van Nieuwkuyk, 44, has held a variety of legal positions. From 1995 she held the position of legal counsel for Rodamco Europe, listed at the Amsterdam stock exchange (AEX). In 2001 she was appointed Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for Rodamco Europe. She started her career in 1989 as a tax lawyer in the international practice of Loyens & Volkmaars (currently LoyensLoeff).
