15 Feb 2008 | Grontmij on top among Swedish engineering students

Grontmij in Sweden has served as the main partner for careers fairs at two of Sweden’s largest technical universities – Armada at KTH in Stockholm (The Royal Institute of Technology) and Arkad at LTH in Lund (Lund University, Faculty of Engineering).

Grontmij is thus further strengthening its position as an attractive employer among Swedish students. According to a follow-up survey carried out by the employer branding company Universum among KTH students to discover which of the 154 exhibiting companies at Armada made the most positive impression, Grontmij came on top!

Top position for Grontmij
Grontmij has thus climbed to the very top position after sharing sixth place with the well-known Swedish telecoms group Ericsson and being named ‘rocket of the year’ last year. We also took first place among a total of 150 participating companies at Arkad at LTH in Lund!

Furthermore, Grontmij was ranked top as a future employer both among students at KTH and LTH when comparing the company with a number of competitors in the engineering consultancy industry and related trades using the question “Which of the following employers would you prefer to work for?” In these results too, Grontmij’s position clearly improved compared with previous surveys.

Pleasant results
“These results are pleasing and clear proof that we have succeeded in getting our message across about Grontmij as a company and an employer. Both KTH and LTH still represent important recruitment bases for our operations, and the impression we have made on students helps to strengthen our position when competing for talented recruits,” comments Ulf Palmblad, Managing Director of Grontmij in Sweden.
