New Business park and hotel in Budapest
For Raiffeisen Evolution Hungary, part of the Austrian Raiffeisen bank, Grontmij has been assigned the engineering planning services of the so-called ‘Kerepesi Business Park + Hotel’ project. This project is a brown field development in Eastern Budapest. The site is in a former industrial zone that is being revitalized in the last few years. The development consists of A-class offices of approximately 60,000 sqm and a 4-star business hotel.
The assignment of Grontmij covers all the engineering services, including also tender plans, working drawings, construction supervision up to the construction handover. The works will start with a traffic analysis of the area and an environmental impact assessment.
New sport hotel in Siklós
LUTACO Invest, a local developer, has assigned Grontmij to render all design services for a new to build sports hotel in the city of Siklós (South Hungary). The project is a 4-star hotel, a spa of 1,100 m2, pool, a 500-person capacity conference centre, a shopping mall and a second phase hotel of further 250 rooms.
Grontmij will render all the design services both in architecture (from initial design) and engineering.
Waste water treatment for the city of Békéscsaba
Grontmij has been commissioned by the city of Békéscsaba (south-east Hungary) for the engineering supervision services of the waste water for the city. The works covers the extension of the sewage network of the city by approximately 250 km new sewer lines and upgrading the existing waste water treatment plant. Grontmij will supervise the upgrading of the waste water treatment plant.
