Grontmij is committed to the elimination of corruption and the maintenance of good governance in our working practices and supply chain. We are signatories to the Global Compact and prepare a yearly report to the Global Compact on our performance and the development of our procedures in support of the ten principles.
We have put management systems in place to capture and information concerning our performance in relation to our anti-corruption practices and our observance of business integrity. We report against GRI indicator SO3, 4 & 8 to record our performance in this area.

All of our workforce is trained in our anti-corruption practices as part of our project management training within our integrated management systems. These systems are audited annually and accredited to ISO 9001.
SO4 - Actions taken in response to incidents of corruption & SO8 - Monetary value of significant fines and total number of sanctions for non-compliance with laws and regulations
We began formally monitoring our compliance against business integrity performance in January 2008. In the period from then until December 2009 we recoded no infringements of any law, regulation or code of practice (voluntary or otherwise).
