Goals and Performance
Grontmij is a signatory of the Global Compact and openly commits to supporting the compact and the ten principles. Our Organisation-wide goals regarding performance relevant to human rights are contained in our annual report to the Global Compact and on our CSR website where we show our performance in relation to GRI indicator HR 4.

Organisational responsibility
Overall organisational responsibility for human rights rests with our Group CEO Sylvo Thijsen. Within each of our operating regions we have a managing director who assumes responsibility for the delivery of human rights policy in line with regional laws and regulations.

Training and awareness

Procedures for training and awareness raising in relation to human rights are in place for all staff, and in particular those with management responsibilities, in each of our operating regions. Training is provided as part of induction process for all new staff with regular up-date training being available as appropriate to changing rules or procedures.

Monitoring and Follow-Up
We have procedures in place for tracking our performance as detailed in our annual Global Compact and CSR reports.
