The old library will be extended with a new modern building, where Grontmij is responsible for the project management.

Grontmij | Carl Bro has been selected as consulting engineers for Nykredit’s complex and innovative construction project in the centre of Copenhagen. Advanced digital tools will be used for Nykredit’s major expansion in Copenhagen Harbour.
The transformation to a dynamic trade and housing area The old industrial area in the middle of Odense in Denmark is going to be the location of a modern neighbourhood covering a total of 178,000 m2.
New front for 140 meter high building
The front construction of one of the oldest high rises in Frankfurt, the DZ Bank building, doesn’t meet today’s requirements. It was decided to replace the old front with a new one. An energy costs reduction of 30% will be realised. We prepare the logistics concept, do the structural analysis and coordinate the safety and health protection.
New food research centre for Unilever in Poland
Unilever appointed Grontmij as project manager for the construction of a brand new research centre for food products in Poland. The centre will consist of two interrelated functional parts: experimental kitchens and a pilot production line, and beside that laboratories and offices.
Survey on large-scale leisure projects
The Flemish Government in Belgium is preparing a revision of the strategic development plan for Flanders. In view of this, several research projects have been initiated. Grontmij is conducting a survey of recent developments in leisure and tourism in Belgium as well as in other parts of the world.
