Project management for new to build library extension
Building supervision in the old city centre of Poznan
One of the oldest libraries in Poznan (Poland) provides housing to thousands of manuscripts, old maps and prints. In the coming years the old library will be extended with a new modern building, where Grontmij is responsible for the project management.
Modern façade
The new extension of the Raczynski Library will have a modern facade in terms of form and materials but still refers to the neoclassical style of the old building. The new building will consist of 5 floors and houses among others a reading and multimedia room, the special collection and the archives.
The library is located in the city center of Poznan.
Grontmij in Poland is responsible for project management:
- management and control
- selection of contractors
- investor’s supervision
- building supervision
- financial settlement of work
