grontmij will work on the Stuttgart 21 project, which brings an important module of the Paris - Bratslava connection into realisation.

Grontmij has been assigned to guide the tender process of a Design & Construct contract for the Port of Rotterdam.




Next generation service for Highways Agency - United Kingdom

New railway tunnel of 15,890 metres - Austria
The railway between Kundl/Radfeld in Germany and Baumkirchen in Austria is widened to four tracks. Grontmij does the local construction supervision.



An underground double-track railway - Sweden
The City Line is an underground double-track railway built through the centre of Stockholm. It includes two new stations to be built underground. Grontmij has been awarded several extensive consultancy contracts.


Improving road safety - Belgium
The Temporary Association for Safe Traffic in Flanders is charged with removing the so-called black (dangerous) junctions and improving road safety near schools.



Providing the 'missing link' for the motorway M6 - United Kingdom
On the busy stretch of the existing M6 between England and Scotland, Grontmij is working on the last 'missing link' in the motorway network between London and Glasgow.

Grontmij has developed a measurement system, the Rail Stress Test, which detects undesirable stress in rails in a simple and sustainable way and considerably improves railway safety.



Smart Radar System detects underground objects
Grontmij offers the possibility to guarantee rapid and efficient round-the-clock detection of underground objects in the immediate vicinity of rail tracks, using the Radarscan. Thanks to modern radar technology, the detection of cables and wires now takes place without any interference whatsoever with the availability of rail infrastructure.

MOVE3 is a software package for the design, adjustment and quality control of 3D, 2D and 1D geodetic networks in compliance with the procedures of the Delft School of geodesy. MOVE3 allows fully integrated processing of GPS and terrestrial observations.
