Technical support for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) in the UK
Grontmij has been successful in renewing a framework agreement to provide a range of technical support services to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
The framework is initially for a 24 month period, with a further 24 month option to extend. Grontmij is supported by ESR Technology.
About NDA
The NDA is a government sponsored body whose responsibility it is to manage the decommissioning of the UK’s civil nuclear liability. Having been established in 2005, the NDA requires consultant support to aid evaluation and reviews of business cases, engineering options, risk management, decommissioning and asset management programmes to ensure that the most appropriate scheme or schemes are adopted and taken forward.
Supporting the UK nuclear industry since 1998
Grontmij has been continuously supporting the UK nuclear industry since 1998 through a number of contracts with UKAEA, RSRL and the NDA. Work in this area of expertise has been further strengthened through Grontmij Sweden in support of the Swedish nuclear power and Grontmij’s other offices throughout Europe.
