Modernization and extension of water management
Grontmij Poland improved the water and wastewater management systems of Bytom municipality. This project included the modernization and extension of the sewage system and the rainwater system, as well as the modernization of the sewage treatment system.
Grontmij’ s role is: - preparation of tender documents,
- monitoring and supervision of work contracts due to their technical, financial and organizational requirements,
- investor’s supervision in accordance with Polish Construction Law and other legislation regulations (red FIDIC book),
- cooperation with the contracting authority in execution of resolutions arising from work contracts,
- supervision and monitoring and sumitting due reports as financial and material progress is concerned,
- providing a total financial service of the projectassessment of dual claims arising between the contracting authority and contractor.
