Upgrading Prague Waterworks
Modern techniques in existing facilities
The Department of Waterworks in Prague wanted to implement modern techniques in the existing water treatment facilities. Grontmij Poland analyzed the possibilities and implemented the chosen systems (ozonation and active carbon filters), thus improving the quality of the produced water. Improving the quality of produced water reduces the need for chlorine dioxide and chlorine to desinfect the water.
Grontmij executed services in the following areas: land use, architecture, design, technology, sanitary installations, electrical installations, roads, green economy, development of land (including: technological water network externalities, sanitary sewage, rainwater and technology, cable networks) and BIOZ (safety and health).
