Grontmij's landscape architects Sweden awarded - again!
Grontmij’s landscape architects in Sweden have been involved in a project that has been awarded with the 'Sienapriset'. This is Sweden's most prestigious prize for landscape architecture and was won for the third time in a row.
Award 'Public Space 2010' for Waterschei
Grontmij and Libost Group, working in close cooperation, won the much coveted audience award at the Day of the Public Space for the Bedrijvenpark Waterschei project. This is the second such award as Grontmij won the prize last year for the Renovation of Machelen Village.
Grontmij Belgium wins Architecture Award 2010
The design of the new marina at the small village Fort Lillo near Antwerp was elected as the winner of the Architecture Award 2010 by the Province of Antwerp. The design was made by Grontmij in collaboration with Cluster Landscape. Grontmij landscape architect Sophie Depauw was especially lauded. With this award the jury honours the inventive work of young architects with a broad vision on architecture and urbanism.
Grontmij Belgium wins award 'Public Spaces 2009'
Grontmij in Belgium has won the award ‘Public Spaces 2009’ for the redesigning of the layout of the town centre of Machelen, a potential growth area for recreation.
Grontmij's landscape architects awarded with prestigious award 
Grontmij's landscape architects in Sweden were in 2008 awarded with Sweden's most prestigious prize for landscape architecture: the Sienapriset. Vasaparken, one of the largest and most visited parks in the inner city of Stockholm has recently been completed after several years of restoration.
Grontmij in Poland 'the Best partner of the Tulip Park'
The ceremony of 'Grand Opening', summarizing the current phase of implementation of investment and promoting a new brand under which operates the Park developer Slough Estate Group – SEGRO, was held in the Tulip Park in Stryków. The main part of the ceremony was the granting of titles of 'The Best Partner of the Tulip Park'. Among the awarded was also Grontmij Poland.
Office building 'Westraven' wins Dutch Building Award
In February 2009 the head office ‘Westraven’ of the Dutch Department of Public works (Rijkswaterstaat) won the Dutch Building Award in the category Buildings. The awards were presented on Wednesday 11 February during the Dutch Building Gala.
Bispebjerg Bakke art building
The Museum of Copenhagen was on Wednesday 1 November 2007 the venue for the Copenhagen Culture Fund to hand over prizes to, among others, Bispebjerg Bakke. Bispebjerg Bakke was rewarded with a diploma and a prize in recognition of a well-constructed building project in Copenhagen.
The Crystal wins European Steel Design Award
The new Copenhagen waterfront landmark, the Crystal (Krystallen) has won one of Europe's grand design awards. The team behind the spectacular Nykredit headquarters – comprising of consultants from Grontmij, architects from Schmidt Hammer Lassen, contractors from Promecon, plus the client Nykredit – has been awarded the European Steel Design Award 2011.
