Automatic rising water barrier 'eXtra' best innovation
The automatic rising waterbarrier called ‘eXtra’ was voted the best innovation on 4 February 2010 in the area of watermanagement. It is a versatile and sustainable solution for the increasing challenges of climate change in especially urban areas where space is scarce and valuable.
Award for innovations in the environmental sector
Pharmafilter and Grontmij jointly won one of the three awards of the annual EEP Award Netherlands in 2008. Minister Cramer of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, announced the winners on 3 April 2008 at the professional Industry & Environment fair. The three winners of the Dutch preliminaries will move on to the European competition.

Grontmij Industry wins the ITM Award 2011
2nd win in a row for Grontmij Industry! On Thursday May 12th 2011, EVAL Europe and Grontmij Industry won the 2011 ITM Award in the “Best Practice in Process” category. It is the 2nd win in a row for Grontmij Industry, following last year’s success with the realisation of an inventive distribution system for DuPont.

On October 20 2010, Grontmij Industry won the Be Inspired Award in the category Innovation in Process Manufacturing with its project "Fully Automatic Production Unit" for Sika (Antwerp, Belgium). With this award Grontmij Industry confirms to be a market leader in industrial engineering.

During the International Fair BUDMA 2007 in Poznan, the official awards in the competition 'Tenders for the best' - Leader of Eco Investment were presented.
Grontmij awarded for photovoltaic installation
A photovoltaic plant in Lund, Sweden was awarded as this year's photovoltaic installation. The photovoltaic plant is one of the largest in the Nordic countries with a total area of 767 m2 and an annual energy production of 70,000 kWh.
